ABOUT ME
DANNY J ROONEY (he/him) is a musical theatre writer living in New York City. He is the composer/lyricist & co-book writer of The Game Boy which was recently featured in 54 Below’s New Musicals series, New York Theatre Barn’s New Works Series, and was the 2023 Metaverse Melodies pitch contest winner at the Augmented World Expo. Danny is also the composer/ lyricist for A Smalltowne Christmas: A New Old-Fashioned (but original!) Musical which had its premiere production in collaboration with the Stevens College Conservatory of Musical Theatre in 2021. His newest musical GLUE: A Pony Tale for which he is the composer/lyricist/book-writer was a semi-finalist for the 2023 Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Musical Theater Conference.
